SolidWorks on ARM Mac with Parallels?

Is anybody able to confirm for me whether Solidworks (and/or the associated VBA/Microsoft software with the installation) is unable to be run on an ARM Mac (Sequoia) with Parallels? I have an ARM MacBook Pro and I loaded it up with Parallels, Windows 11, and a version of Solidworks that I was able to obtain with a serial number/key combo that was posted in a Reddit thread. However, the installation would not go through, claiming that code was missing or an incorrect version. Then, although I can’t remember the source, I heard a rumor that ARM Macs simply wouldn’t work with Solidworks, even on Parallels. (I did not have a paid/registered version of Windows at the time, but Web results seemed to indicate that that wouldn’t be a reason you couldn’t use Solidworks on Parallels.) Can anyone confirm this? I’m a devoted Mac user but I have a very promising potential job offer that centers around using Solidworks and writing C# addins for it using the API. I would be perfectly thrilled to find out that taking this job doesn’t mean I’ll have to permanently move to a Windows machine. (I do have an older Intel MacBook, but it doesn’t currently have the hard disk capacity to load Parallels, Windows, and Solidworks, and even if I hassle with clearing the disk to load all of that I don’t have any assurance that Solidworks would install and run properly, so I’d rather try to find out the answer regarding ARM before looking at that as a last resort.)

I think you should give up on Mac. There are all kinds of problems with the compilation environment for both systems. Just thinking about it makes me feel painful. The official has never done anything like this either.
