Future of API and PDM API?

Hello,

I’m totally new to solidworks api, I have a good experience in different programming languages (not including C or C#) with a lot of experience in solidworks, so my question is it worth to enter this field? Is there any job opportunity available for solidworks API?

It’s possible to make some money with API support. There are even companies that specialize it that field. It’s common for VARs to have programmers to assist customers in these matters, however there are some great privately owned companies in this field as well.

There is insatiable need for good API programmers for SW and PDM but you need to put yourself out there! I have recently hired a new API developer to keep up with my projects.
