how do we encrypt the model in SolidWorks? Do any of you have any good suggestions for the encryption method?
My usage scenario is that I have a batch of models along with my installation package, but the data has not been encrypted. How should I handle them?
There is no standard way of doing it. You could zip or encrypt your file and decrypt it before use, but your user can always save a copy of that model anyway after opening it.
The biggest question: Why would you encrypt them?
I made a simple plug-in similar to DriveWorks for Solidworks, and there will be some model files, but the models are not free.
